Your order for a replacement harness first comes into our office here.
Construction starts with original take-out harnesses like this one from a 1939 Chevy Pickup.
An original harness is carefully disassembled and a pattern of it is fabricated. Careful attention is paid to wire gauge, covering type, color, terminal ends, connectors, wrappings, as well as configuration and pigtail lengths.
This pattern is used to select the correct wire from our large inventory of different sizes, coverings and colors of wire.
Maintaining supplies of the proper gauge of wire of each covering type with the correct color and correct tracer threads consumes significant storage space.
